Work Samples | Info   Ya-sin Kalifen Chahimi Art direction and design of Ya-sin Kalifen Chahimi's self titled art publication. Chahimi approached me with an idea of photographing him with all his hair removed and put into his mouth. We invited photographer Carl Kleiner into the project, and our discussion resulted in an art publication with a series of portraits exploring the identity and perception of a human being. Chahimi also wrote a text to accompany the images — a dystopian poem about aging, death, dignity and vanity. Printed in black and white on 55gsm improved newsprint at Newspaper Club, London.
